Overview

This section describes the HR and payroll processes in the Russian localization. It has an overview page, “Human resources in Russia”, and one page for each process: payroll, absence registration, dismissal, charges and deductions, staff forming and changing, and vacation planning. There are no subtopics.

Start with the overview page to see which areas are covered. Then go to the process page you need. Payroll sets up salary elements, calculation types and accounting groups. Charges and deductions enter payroll automatically, and absence orders are posted to payroll. Dismissal covers dismissal lines, compensation payments and employee status. Staff list orders and vacation schedules cover organization and planning.

• Absence registration handles four absence types (vacation, travel, sick leave, other) through orders posted to payroll and employee ledger entries, and orders can be cancelled.
• Dismissal uses dismissal lines with an operation type, a reason code and a dismissal document. It also covers compensation payments and updates the employee status.
• Charges and deductions (bonuses, fines, benefits, deductions, assistance) are recorded in the Employee Journal and enter payroll automatically based on start and end dates.
• HR managers create and modify staff lists through staff list orders. They manage position and organizational unit actions and generate archived staff lists and staff arrangement reports.

• Vacation planning builds a yearly vacation schedule, suggests employees, handles leave transfers, and fills in actual start dates when vacation orders are posted.
