Overview
The video follows a sales and customer service scenario across Microsoft 365 apps connected to Business Central. In Teams, users paste links to customer cards and product information, add tabs showing invoices and payments, and open sales orders where a credit limit notification appears when a change pushes the total over the limit. A Power Automate flow creates a Teams escalation space with one click. A colleague without a license gets read-only access through a Microsoft 365 account.
In Outlook, the user opens customer records, purchase and billing history, payment information and balance next to an email. Contact Insights moves from an email to the customer record. Attachments can be linked to customer records. Quotes can be composed from products detected in the email. Excel is used for exporting customer payments and for editing item discounts, with edits saved back. Quote PDF layouts can be exported to Word, changed, saved back and shared by link.
