Overview
The video walks through a set of Power BI reports added for Sustainability in the 2025 release wave 1. The first group covers greenhouse gas emissions: realized emissions against targets and against baselines for carbon equivalent, methane and nitrous oxide, with scope and category breakdowns. This wave also introduces water and waste analysis.
It then shows carbon equivalent analysis, an emissions to revenue comparison, carbon credit tracking by month, a sustainability overview with KPIs, and a social analysis report for ESG. The social report uses limited employee data for now, and the presenter says it is planned to expand. The presenter also says a sustainability app is coming with 26.1.
Key points
- Greenhouse gas reports compare realized emissions to targets and to baselines for carbon equivalent, methane and nitrous oxide, with scope and category views.
- Water and Waste Analysis report covers water intensity by country and facility, waste tracking and year-over-year change.
- Because the responsibility center is set up as a facility operation, water intensity can be tracked against facility capacities.
- Carbon equivalent report converts all emissions to CO2 equivalent and analyzes by category and month.
- Other reports: emissions to revenue ratio, carbon credit purchases by month, and a sustainability overview with KPIs for all three gases, water and waste.
- Social Analysis report covers employee demographics, absence hours, gender, age, qualifications and union membership, but employee data is currently limited and expansion is planned.
- A sustainability app is announced for version 26.1.
