Overview

The Netherlands hub collects the Dutch local features of Business Central. It starts with a reference guide, “Netherlands Local Functionality [NL]”, which lists the areas: VAT declarations, electronic banking, telebanking, payment scenarios, SEPA payments and postal code management. Subtopics then go into each area.

Banking and payments is the largest subtopic (15 pages). It covers telebanking, payment and collection proposals, payment history export, cash, bank and giro journals, bank statement import and SEPA ISO 20022. VAT (4 pages) covers electronic VAT and ICP declarations through Digipoort, VAT categories and the audit file for the Dutch tax authority.

Smaller subtopics cover core finance (applying and unapplying G/L entries, required descriptions), purchasing (document amount checks on invoices and credit memos) and general topics (CMR notes and post code import). Start with the reference guide, then open the subtopic that matches your task.
