Overview

This section lists what is new, changed, and planned in Business Central across release waves and monthly minor updates. The overview page “What’s New or Changed in Business Central” is the entry point. It links the current versions (29.0, 28.5, 28.4, 28.3, 28.2) and the 2026 release waves 1 and 2.

Each version has its own page. The 28.0 preview and the 29.0 page describe the larger wave-level capabilities. The 28.1 to 28.5 pages cover the minor updates: hotfixes, feature additions, localization changes, and upgrade paths. Themes across them include Copilot and agents, e-documents and e-invoicing, and country-specific tax and reporting features.
