Overview
The India section groups the localized features for Indian statutory and accounting needs. The largest area is GST, with setup, sales and purchase scenarios, returns, e-invoice, e-way bill and settlement. TDS, TDS for customer and TCS cover tax deducted or collected at source, including thresholds, adjustments and payment to government. The Tax Engine is a configurable framework with tax types, rates, use cases, scripting and JSON import and export.
Other subtopics cover operational processes: voucher interface for day-to-day entries, fixed asset depreciation under Indian laws, gate entry for goods movement, and subcontracting with delivery challans and job work reports.
The section’s own pages cover four areas. They are an overview of India local functionality, audit trail and edit log compliance, charge assignment for purchase order charges, and stale check setup. Start with the overview page, then go to the subtopic for the tax or process you need. GST is the usual entry point for transaction questions.
