Overview

This section is for internal administrators and delegated partners who run Business Central online tenants. The entry page covers user management, permissions assignment, licensing, environment updates, telemetry and partner relationships, and points to the subtopics for detail.

The subtopics split by task. “Understand Business Central online” explains the service itself: tenants, environments, companies, update cycles, limits and support. “Admin center” covers day-to-day work such as the environment lifecycle, apps, updates, capacity and billing. “Entitlements and permissions” explains licensing and access control. “Prepare Business Central” and “Onboard your customers” help partners get an environment and new users ready. “Monitor and analyze telemetry” and “Manage technical support” cover observability and escalation. The Automation API, Cloud Migration API and “Migrate to Business Central online” cover automation and moving data in from other systems.

Start with “Understand Business Central online” if the service is new to you, then go to “Admin center” for operational tasks. Use the telemetry subtopic when you need to diagnose or alert on behavior.
