Business Central on-premises updates

Business Central on-premises update pages list cumulative updates, hotfixes and regulatory features per release wave. They answer which updates exist for versions 26, 27 and 28; the version 26 and 27 pages also give build numbers and support article references. An archive subtopic covers older versions 13 to 25 that no longer receive updates.

Overview

This section tracks the updates released for Business Central on-premises. Each current release wave has its own page: 2025 release wave 1 (version 26), 2025 release wave 2 (version 27) and 2026 release wave 1 (version 28). The pages list updates by version number and cover cumulative updates, hotfixes and regulatory features. The version 26 and 27 pages also give build numbers and support article references for each update and note multi-country support.

Older versions that no longer receive updates are kept in the “Versions no longer updated” subtopic. It holds 13 archive pages, from version 13 (October 2018) to version 25 (2024 release wave 2).
