Learn

The Learn section of Business Central gathers orientation material: an overview of supported business functionality, design details for complex features, CRONUS walkthroughs, Contoso Coffee demo data, and partner resources. It answers what Business Central can do, how some features work internally, and where partners find learning and community support.

Overview

Learn is the starting area for people new to Business Central or looking for background material. It combines a functional overview, hands-on practice scenarios, demo data, technical design notes, and partner-specific resources.

Start with the business functionality overview to see which processes are supported: finance, sales, purchasing, inventory, projects, fixed assets, CRM, HR, manufacturing, assembly, warehouse and service management. Then practice with the business process walkthroughs, which use the CRONUS demonstration company. The Contoso Coffee demo data page offers a fictitious company for exploring manufacturing, warehousing, and service modules.

For deeper technical questions, the application design details index points to articles on inventory costing, dimension set entries, supply planning, warehouse availability, item tracking, and VAT handling. Partners have two more pages: resources covering readiness, releases, Copilot and agents, integrations, and migrations, plus Viva Engage communities for discussion with Microsoft experts.
