Overview

Get started is the entry point for new Business Central users. Its own page gives an overview of supported business functionality: finance, sales, purchasing, inventory, projects, fixed assets, CRM, HR, manufacturing, assembly, warehouse and service management.

The subtopics follow a path. Try and Buy cover signing up for a trial, extending it, first setup tasks, assisted setup, company information, users, permissions and converting to a subscription. Quick starts give beginner guides for first-time setup and basic tasks. Learn offers demo-company walkthroughs (CRONUS, Contoso Coffee) and a video library for practice.

Once the system is running, Get productive in Business Central is the largest group, with how-to pages for end users on navigation, filtering, personalization, reports and Copilot. Troubleshooting and FAQs and Help and Support cover common questions and where to get help. Start with the functionality overview, then Try or Quick starts.
