Overview

The video covers the language and country expansion of the Expense Agent. It lists the countries added (Austria, Denmark, France, Germany, Spain, UK, and Europe in EU; Canada in North America; Australia and New Zealand in APAC) and the five supported languages. It says more countries and languages are coming in October.

Two demos follow, one in Danish and one in Spanish. Each uploads receipts, then shows the agent extracting details and assigning categories such as meal and hotel, with the interface and strings shown in the local language. The video ends with a recap on testing receipts in many languages.

Key points

  • Expense Agent was first available in English and the US from May. From July it adds Danish, French, German and Spanish; the presenter refers to five fully supported languages.
  • With the local language set (Danish in the demo), all strings, categories and subcategories are shown in that language.
  • Countries listed: Austria, Denmark, France, Germany, Spain, UK and Europe in EU; Canada in North America; Australia and New Zealand in APAC.
  • More countries and languages are planned for October.
  • Receipts can be in any language. The agent extracts and categorizes them even when the receipt language differs from the environment language, with support for different currencies.
  • The presenter says the agent was tested with receipts in almost all languages, but full support is limited to the listed languages for now.
  • The agent categorizes expenses (for example meal and hotel) and extracts details such as dates and itemizations; the user then reviews, confirms and submits.
