Overview

This section sits under built-in reports and covers three areas of service management. One page explains how to allocate resources such as technicians to service tasks using the Dispatch Board or service orders. One explains service posting. One covers service statistics for analyzing service documents.

The pages fit together along the service flow. Resources are allocated and their hours registered, service documents are posted to create shipments, invoices and ledger entries, and statistics then let you evaluate performance across contracts, items, quotes, orders, invoices and credit memos.

Start with the allocation page if you need to schedule technicians. Start with service posting if you need to understand the resulting documents and entries. Start with service statistics if you need analysis.
