Overview

This area covers the AI features in Business Central across finance, inventory, sales and company setup. These include chat with Copilot, analysis assist, summarize, autofill, and agents such as Payables Agent, Expense Agent and Sales Order Agent. Many features are marked preview.

Start with the Business Central AI overview page for the list of capabilities. Then check the country/region availability and supported languages page, since rollout depends on country/region version, data location and language. The Copilot FAQ explains licensing, online-only operation and data permissions, and notes that the features work without needing training on customer data. The Advanced Tell Me page covers the AI semantic search in the Tell Me pane.

The subtopics each cover one feature or agent, with usage and FAQ or responsible AI pages. The Manage Copilot and agent capabilities subtopic is the place for administrators. It covers activating features, user permissions, cross-geography data movement, Bing Search, Azure OpenAI data handling and troubleshooting.
